Almost one week ago, a six years old boy named '' Husnain '' was severely bitten by six rabid dogs. The sad incident happened in Larkana, Sindh. According to the reporters, at least half -a -dozen rabid dogs mauled the youngster when he was passing through the fields. The boy got serious injuries on his body, especially on his face.
But this is not the first incident. Almost 2 months ago, another 10 years old youngster ''Mir Hassan Abro '' died by dog-bites. The young Abro helplessly died in his mother's lap because of absence of anti-rabies vaccination.
Unfortunately, both two incidents and many others, which are not reported in the newspapers, are not ''co-incidents ''.Besides many other reasons, a ' horrible ignorance' by the Sindh government is the main cause behind such dog-bitting incidents.
Why such rabid dogs are not killed by the government?
Why anti-rabies vaccination is not stored in hospitals?
Still, no measures have been taken by Health Ministery Sindh in this regard. Still, stray dogs are roaming freely in every nook and corner of the Sindh.
Why stray rabid dogs are given free hand to play with the lives of young innocent children?
Are these stray dogs are more prestigious than the lives of human beings?
